Homoerotic Photo Contest: Final Entry (David Lee Roth)

OK, if I don’t stop this crazy thing now, I’m never going to be able to stop. I just kept getting more and more red-hot photos. So here’s the fourteenth and final entry. I will give everyone the weekend to register their final votes as to which of these pictures should take the glory, then I will have announce the winner on Monday night. I will also probably have a follow up post featuring some of the gold that didn’t quite make the cut. As you will see, it certainly wasn’t for lack of quality. Some of the strongest stuff ended up on the cutting room floor.

I got two kick ass photos of Anandamide’s resident advice columnist, David Lee Roth. Patrick Hillman contributed a great one, but I think even he will have to admit that though this one is low quality and a bad cut and paste from a larger collage, it’s got that certain…ahem….something. Here’s entry number thirteen in Anandamide’s Homoerotic Photo Contest (I keep wanting to end it, but they keep pulling me back in…..I’m almost sure this is the last entry - see rules and rationale here). I started this contest by stating that I just don’t think women are turned on by this type of picture….well I can’t imagine there’s anyone in the world who’s turned on by this.  Except maybe Nikki Sixx.  This is the second entry from Pigeon Kicking and a second appearance in the contest from Mr. Tommy Lee.

Chris from Inane Thoughts and Ramblings sent in a bunch of goodies, but I thought that hair metal was somewhat underrepresented in the contest, given that it is probably the most homoerotic of purportedly straight musical genres.

I debated whether to allow this one, as a guy wearing pink pants has got to be fully aware of the homoerotic vibe he’s spreading, thus robbing him of that certain ironic something that makes these photos funny. But what the hell, could we really have a homoerotic photo contest without Mick Jagger?
