Reunited…and it feels good.

h-fiancesreunited.jpg

You guys are going to be thrilled. I know I am. Late yesterday, the hordes of ZZ Top fans who left so abruptly on Monday returned to my site. This supports Grant Miller’s theory that Google tried to split us up. So I have a message for this “Google” person: Bitch, you best be mindin’ your own business !!!! Nobody is going to keep me and my legions of ZZ Top fanzz apart !!!

I know what you’re thinking: “Just the other day he was saying he was too proud to put up with their obnoxious behavior any more”. Well I’m telling you, things are different now. My ZZ Top searchers have grown from being apart from us these last few days. Not that they said that. Actually, they still haven’t said anything. I can just feel that things are better this time. It just feels more (dare I say it?)…permanent.

I also came to realize that the problem was me. I mean, they work hard at being “bad” and “nationwide”. They get tired and just want to come here at the end of the day and relax, not listen to me nag about how they never actually read any of the posts or leave comments. God, I can be such a bitch sometimes. Maybe it’s just time for me to be supportive for a change.

So we’re together again. Isn’t that just the greatest thing you’ve heard all day?

  1. Be sure to ask ZZ Top where they slept last night. Or at least ask Billy Gibbons.

  2. God, I am so jealous. I wish I could attract hordes of ZZ Top fanatics. The Lisa Rhinna fans are just not doing it for me anymore.

  3. You have got is so goin’ on. Great art, legions of ZZ Top fans… Gawd. Jealousy is my new middle name, replacing Bongart. Your Legend grows… soon it will take a nation of cheap sunglasses to hold you back.

  4. I’m so glad to get this news I can’t even tell you.

  5. Grant: I would never ask questions of the Top. I am but their humble servant.

Prunella: Don’t even think of hoarding in on my Top fans. That would be like me mentioning “Lisa Rhinna’s new hairstyle” on my website, sucking hits away from your site. Unthinkable !!!!

UF: In terms of the creation of great art, I live by a simple credo: “would Huey Lewis do this?”. If the answer is “no”, I go back to the drawing board. And cheap sunglasses is definitely something that Huey would go for…

CP: I knew my readers would be thrilled by resumption of this healthy, totally mutual relationship.

  6. You’re so lucky. I get the stripper shoes fans.

  7. that guy’s trying to steal 2nd base!

  8. Beth: I’d accept stripper shoe fans as well, I’m not choosy.

Cleek: maybe that’s what they mean by “it feels good”

  9. Damn, Cleek beat me to that comment. I can only add that it’s an interesting technique the guy’s using. He’s holding that flower, and prepping to cop a “back of the hand” feel — but she’s raised her arm to hold him back from doing so.

  10. Hhmmmmmm…..I like you and all, Anandamide, but I am really tempted to steal some of those ZZ Top fans. Especially now that you have forbidden me to do so. Look out for my next post in which I shall pose naked while wearing a ZZ Top beard and sunglasses. Oh yes, I’ve got the legs and I know how to use ‘em.

  11. Hillman: You gotta work quick to beat Cleek. Especially when you consider that his comment was originally stuck in my Spam box for a few hours….

I must say, I didn’t pay any attention to “the flower technique”.

Prunella: If you pose naked on your site in ZZ Top beard and sunglasses (forever dispelling the rumor that you are, in reality, a “Sharp Dressed Man”), you are welcome to whatever Top fans you can steal. But then I will be obligated to pose naked dressed like Lisa Rhinna, and my readers really don’t want that to happen….

  12. I’m not sure if anyone’s answered the original “why?”, but the #1 hit on Google Images search for “ZZ Top” is Anandamide. That spectacular photo just reels the hits in I guess.

  13. Ah Hah !!! Thanks BVN, that’s the closest I’ve come to unravelling this perplexing puzzle. Although I still don’t know how I got to be #1….

  14. That damn Google is always trying to cause trouble. I hate them. I used to come up as number one for “Captain Smack”, now I’m not even in the top 100. Hell, just me mentioning “Captain Smack” on this page will probably put you ahead of me in searches for “Captain Smack”.

Say, could you do me a favor? If anyone comes here looking for “Captain Smack”, could you send them over to my place? Thanks.

  15. This is a never-ending source of fascination for me (as you can see with my near-obsession over this ZZ Top affair).

I used to be #3 when you entered “anandamide” and they cock-blocked me. What do they have against blogs with almost no redemptive content?

  16. Let no man tear asunder, that which google brought together. Thus spake the prophet.

  17. jewellery…

this is why i always pick my nose….
